Discounted travel

You might be able to get a railcard which can give you a discount off your train ticket price. This is usually 33%. There is more information about pricing and the railcards available on the ScotRail website

If you are unemployed and get Jobseekers Allowance or Universal Credit, you might be able to apply for a free Jobcentre Plus Travel Discount card. This card gives you 50% off some rail and bus travel. You should speak to your work coach to find out how to apply.
