Register to vote

If you're over 14 years old, you should register to vote. This means you'll be able to vote in elections and referendums if you meet the eligibility at the time.

Elected representatives

Everyone in Dumbarton is represented at different levels of government.

You'll have local councillors, regional MSPs, a constituency MSP and a constituency MP.

Local councillors

Your local councillors will depend on the ward you're in.

These are Members of the Scottish Parliament who represent the whole of the West Scotland region, not just West Dunbartonshire.
